Welcome to the January Handwaved CR & AU workshop for Kaisou! We're super excited to have you! These posts are to help encourage old and new players to make new connections and find potential CR while designing your AU or figuring out what your OU character has been up to. If you're brand news, you can check out FAQ page and the app page to get a sense of what's going on!

If you're a player looking to app a new character:
Apps are always open for submission and get done the first and third weekends of the month. So once you got a clear idea of what you want, feel free to hop over to the application page! If you're already in the game, feel free to comment to this post as well to make new CR!

A reminder that in order to app either a Black Order or POKEGO AU you are required to have been in the game at least 3 months with another character. If you are rejoining the game after being gone awhile, you can count your past stint towards your 3 months, but it's recommended you look over the plot recap to see what you missed.

If you are a player with a character in game looking for CR:
You can use this post to comment with your character and established some handwaved CR or just come up with different ways for characters to meet!

Age: Veeeeeeery early 20s. 22 at most.

About: Newly minted incarnation of the god Hermes, only been doing this for about a year before getting themselves into the city. Formerly an influencer and streamer. Can make a doorway of light out of just about any door in existence. Likes memes, endless font of energy and good faith in people. Granted, they are not the sharpest crayon in the box at all times, and mix up words with alarming consistency, but by god do they try.

Typical Activities: Currently living in the underwater fortress after Persephone told them to do it. Haven't... been leaving their room much lately, after what happened in October. They have progressed to the point of leaving the door unlocked though! Recently got a knife from the goodwill and they would like to not have that anymore - anyone want a knife?? They have a brick they named MeowMeow instead. Sometimes when it's late, they'll go running through the halls of the Fortress - like, literally jogging/running. The trouble with having endless energy and also anxiety. They need a hobby besides that and scrolling the internet.

Looking for:
Really anything! Hermes is basically a golden retriever in personality, they'll chat with just about anyone about anything, even if the conversation may go into ... interesting places as a result of how their brain works.

Get them out of the house (so to speak), please.

Age: 800 but looks 17ish
Type: Paranormal Modern AU

About: Arcueid is energetic, whimsical, carefree and somewhat unpredictable. She is a vampire princess known as the True Ancestor. It is said that True Ancestors originated from the moon. She hunts other vampires instead of humans. Her moral code is different from humans. She doesn't really think about long term consequences and can come off as an airhead.

Luna is a noblewoman who was raised with a strict upbringing. She was told to never cut her hair because she had to be a dignified lady. Her strict upbringing resulted in her being isolated from the outside world. Things took a sudden turn when there was a betrayal in her family. One of her relatives set her up to be abducted. Mysterious men started showing up near her mansion. Luna didn't know if they were thieves or someone more dangerous. She received a letter telling her to leave the mansion. So in her haste she cuts her hair and leaves everything behind. Later she learns that the strange people who came to her home were from The Black Order. She couldn’t understand why they came after her but she figures it might have something to do with her lineage. She came to Kaisou hoping for a chance at a new life and to investigate the mysteries connected to her past.

Looking for: Any acquaintances or friends/family Arcueid could turn to for refuge. She might have an interesting CR with the black order members too. I’m definitely open to ideas!
