Welcome to the January Handwaved CR & AU workshop for Kaisou! We're super excited to have you! These posts are to help encourage old and new players to make new connections and find potential CR while designing your AU or figuring out what your OU character has been up to. If you're brand news, you can check out FAQ page and the app page to get a sense of what's going on!
If you're a player looking to app a new character:
Apps are always open for submission and get done the first and third weekends of the month. So once you got a clear idea of what you want, feel free to hop over to the application page! If you're already in the game, feel free to comment to this post as well to make new CR!
A reminder that in order to app either a Black Order or POKEGO AU you are required to have been in the game at least 3 months with another character. If you are rejoining the game after being gone awhile, you can count your past stint towards your 3 months, but it's recommended you look over the plot recap to see what you missed.
If you are a player with a character in game looking for CR:
You can use this post to comment with your character and established some handwaved CR or just come up with different ways for characters to meet!

Canon: Devil May Cry
Age: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 29? Holy shit he's now 29. Canon age is 24ish.
Type: AU Normal
About: Sassy, sarcastic goober with a heart of gold who is feral to protect the ones he loves and cherishes. Really patient with people compared to his canon counterpart.
Typical Activities: He's one of the gym teachers in Kaisou High School, so he's definitely around. Also the local Fight Club runner.
Looking for: I honestly am so open to literally anything, Nox is very chill with just about EVERYONE and it takes longer to piss him off here than it does in canon. He vibes pretty easy and loves video games and doing spars, so he's always open in that regard too.

Canon: Genshin Impact
Age: 33
Type: Black Order AU
About: One of the new Unbroken in the Black Order's rebuilding, he's the type to seem very stoic but in reality he's an absolute gremlin who loves trolling people, especially the ones he cares for. Ayato is loyal and wise (mostly), spending a chunk of his time studying potential problems and where he can easily either cut them off or encourage them into a spot he can make work in his favor.
Typical Activities: Ayato is a workaholic and he does a ton of paperwork for the Order. Most of the time he can be found on the Kamisato Estate, which is by the park- he tends to wander the gardens or the yard to keep an eye on how things are being tended to. Ayato also has a floral shop he goes to frequently and gets flowers for his dad's passing, which he won't shy from speaking about if asked.
Looking for: Aaaaaany, really. The guy needs friends and other people to adopt or get to know. He's a lot easier to at least get to know in this AU compared to how distant he once was as his canon self or even when he was forced to be mediator for TBO.

Age: 28 (23/24ish in canon, wiggles hands)
Type: Supernatural AU (Possessed!edition)
About: Musician, actual musical prodigy with a violin, really shitty childhood and is a bit of a wet noodle. Learned about his past as Sunday and uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh y e a h he has had A Time(TM) coming to terms with it. Accepted it even if he hated what he did, but he's tried not to think about it too hard otherwise. He also was murdered in October, please don't ask him about it. Very kind person, very soft, very easy to walk over if you push enough. Noah needs work.
Typical Activities: He plays music sometimes in one of the outdoor sections of Kaisou U's campus, he's an intern on the Jackdaw and is the shanty fiddler, and he's been starting to try out archery and work on that since November. He's incredibly easy to spot and he's not one you can somehow miss in a crowd- more than likely you've probably already bumped into him somewhere.
Looking for: Please just come friend him, he is a soft boy who needs friends and also a SPINE. Alternatively, pls come troll him so he learns how to deal with them too, eventually. While he's already better than when he first arrived in Kaisou, he's going to need to really just grow as a person in general.

Please please please please I want these two to have some really dorky handwaved stuff. Like, I can see Yashuo dragging Noah out for ice cream floats or some silly food bc it just isn't something he knows bc he's Austrian and hasn't really explored food or anything like that. I also think she'd gently scold him to be kinder to himself and stand up for things more!!!
