Welcome to the January Handwaved CR & AU workshop for Kaisou! We're super excited to have you! These posts are to help encourage old and new players to make new connections and find potential CR while designing your AU or figuring out what your OU character has been up to. If you're brand news, you can check out FAQ page and the app page to get a sense of what's going on!
If you're a player looking to app a new character:
Apps are always open for submission and get done the first and third weekends of the month. So once you got a clear idea of what you want, feel free to hop over to the application page! If you're already in the game, feel free to comment to this post as well to make new CR!
A reminder that in order to app either a Black Order or POKEGO AU you are required to have been in the game at least 3 months with another character. If you are rejoining the game after being gone awhile, you can count your past stint towards your 3 months, but it's recommended you look over the plot recap to see what you missed.
If you are a player with a character in game looking for CR:
You can use this post to comment with your character and established some handwaved CR or just come up with different ways for characters to meet!

but in terms of my two very hard to work with AUs the most that can kind of be worked with for ragna is maybe her family was family friends w/ his mother's side so they have a loose familiarity except ragna's immediate fam's been dead or MIA for the past decade so they've been out of contact for a long while TBH IN THINKING ABOUT IT because ragna's so antisocial and it's been ten years he wouldnt remember her right away and SHE COULD THINK HEY I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD BUT YOU'RE HERE
small thing though if she's remembering her lineage to the point TBO would've been after her do you mean to make her a ronin au? or do you think she wouldn't remember her past life.
alternatively do you think she's still a vampire in this life or has some connections to that and would have been found by someone else shady or perhaps a seeker of people with those creepy supernatural tendencies to ostracize them despite having a high place in the nobility/to make them lose credibility? idk i just think that too would be neat it's all u

HMM i think Arcueid could still be a vampire in this life. She'd be suppressing her vampiric urges while trying to blend in with society. FOR THE MOST PART, she's involved in some supernatural events. TBO just happened to have some involvement in her past.
also if she's staying as a vampire her name would just stay as Arcueid Brunestud

I can work with Arcueid being out of touch with Ragna for a long time! It's canon for her to seem dead but suddenly come back out of no where.

so is it more like someone near her they might've been lookin for cause my suggestion is maybe she's been in kaisou for a couple months now since after the rebellion last year since she wanted to avoid them? then later on/when you bring her in she gets the app?
cause that would be easy and make lots of sense i think for you bUT IDK IF I'M PICKING UP WHAT UR PUTTING DOWN/IF WE'RE THINKING THE SAME THING i might be a little dumb

that suggestion is fine for me! Ill get back to you when i rework her au details! We gotta fine tune it and do all those things
