Welcome to the January Handwaved CR & AU workshop for Kaisou! We're super excited to have you! These posts are to help encourage old and new players to make new connections and find potential CR while designing your AU or figuring out what your OU character has been up to. If you're brand news, you can check out FAQ page and the app page to get a sense of what's going on!

If you're a player looking to app a new character:
Apps are always open for submission and get done the first and third weekends of the month. So once you got a clear idea of what you want, feel free to hop over to the application page! If you're already in the game, feel free to comment to this post as well to make new CR!

A reminder that in order to app either a Black Order or POKEGO AU you are required to have been in the game at least 3 months with another character. If you are rejoining the game after being gone awhile, you can count your past stint towards your 3 months, but it's recommended you look over the plot recap to see what you missed.

If you are a player with a character in game looking for CR:
You can use this post to comment with your character and established some handwaved CR or just come up with different ways for characters to meet!

FGO crossovers are the reason I don't dare ever app ANY type-moon character as long as I have Ritsuka in game there's no telling who will show up next

anyway I MEAN RITSUKA WILL BEFRIEND ANYONE IF THEY LET HER and sometimes even if they don't hi Arjuna but like we have a few options here:

1. They don't manage to meet until Arc is on the app and there's potential for "hey it's you!!!" and dropping her past life's name

2. They met before Arc gets the app but after Ritsuka's canon update (so late November or more recently) and probably had some kind of initial "why are you staring at me?" "oh sorry I just thought you looked kinda like someone I knew" first meeting, or

3. They met before the canon update (Ritsuka's been in kaisou like a year and a half now so) and Arc was just one of the normies/non app users around town Ritsuka happened to know, with added bonus awkward after her canon update of trying not to blurt anything out because that would be rude if she doesn't know??? etc


There's also my normal AU OC who's been on the app for just over a year now and in kaisou for longer than that who's like. a great option for someone who is so tired of this supernatural bs and will gladly commisirate/try to help out anyone who feels similarly.

It really is like that sometimes!!

1. I WAS ACTUALLY THINKING of just letting her stay a vampire in paranormal modern au. I still have a lot of things I need to work out! When I shake out the cobwebs I'll let you know!

so she might keep her name arc! addressing her as Arcueid would be fine LMAO.

look we even got a mahoyo crossover I can't assume ANYTHING will be off-limits

reminds me though hey Arc wanna hear about the time Ritsuka had to fight ORT? :D

But anyway! Sounds like maybe we should see what you settle on for the AU? Especially if it ends up affecting the timeline of when Arc arrives in Kaisou (the city) as opposed to getting on the app. Then we can decide what works best!
