Welcome to the January Handwaved CR & AU workshop for Kaisou! We're super excited to have you! These posts are to help encourage old and new players to make new connections and find potential CR while designing your AU or figuring out what your OU character has been up to. If you're brand news, you can check out FAQ page and the app page to get a sense of what's going on!

If you're a player looking to app a new character:
Apps are always open for submission and get done the first and third weekends of the month. So once you got a clear idea of what you want, feel free to hop over to the application page! If you're already in the game, feel free to comment to this post as well to make new CR!

A reminder that in order to app either a Black Order or POKEGO AU you are required to have been in the game at least 3 months with another character. If you are rejoining the game after being gone awhile, you can count your past stint towards your 3 months, but it's recommended you look over the plot recap to see what you missed.

If you are a player with a character in game looking for CR:
You can use this post to comment with your character and established some handwaved CR or just come up with different ways for characters to meet!

Canon: Stray Gods
Age: Veeeeeeery early 20s. 22 at most.
Type: OU

About: Newly minted incarnation of the god Hermes, only been doing this for about a year before getting themselves into the city. Formerly an influencer and streamer. Can make a doorway of light out of just about any door in existence. Likes memes, endless font of energy and good faith in people. Granted, they are not the sharpest crayon in the box at all times, and mix up words with alarming consistency, but by god do they try.

Typical Activities: Currently living in the underwater fortress after Persephone told them to do it. Haven't... been leaving their room much lately, after what happened in October. They have progressed to the point of leaving the door unlocked though! Recently got a knife from the goodwill and they would like to not have that anymore - anyone want a knife?? They have a brick they named MeowMeow instead. Sometimes when it's late, they'll go running through the halls of the Fortress - like, literally jogging/running. The trouble with having endless energy and also anxiety. They need a hobby besides that and scrolling the internet.

Looking for:
Really anything! Hermes is basically a golden retriever in personality, they'll chat with just about anyone about anything, even if the conversation may go into ... interesting places as a result of how their brain works.

Get them out of the house (so to speak), please.

Maxima is not quite sure what to make of Hermes, for a couple of reasons (not from Earth and mildly confused by modern culture, comes from an aggressively atheist society), but he'll still have been checking in to make sure they're doing okay and getting enough to eat, especially after October.

I am very sorry for the modern slang and internet nonsense that comes out of Hermes' mouth on a daily basis

... They also will not say no to snacks. It's their golden retriever nature.

Persephone checks up on Hermes on a daily basis, because she DOES worry about them and it IS her job to keep the Idols safe. She doesn't insert herself too much into their life, because she wants them to be able to enjoy some freedom here before the full weight of being an Idol slams down on them- but she definitely at least messages them a couple times a day!

Varian is around Meropide every weekend, so he probs runs into them a lot! He's always happy for a quiet conversation even if he's deeply Bad At The Internet and only understands half of what Hermes talks about!

Because they appreciate the check ins and they're. Like This. She was probably the first person they told when they started doing laps around the fortress instead of like. Leaving a chair propped against the door.

Varian I'm sorry because they absolutely botch 5 words every time they talk to him.

So I'd be more than happy to continue throwing Ritsuka and/or Meredith at Hermes if you are! And if there's anything you wanna offscreen/handwave lmk I just have no ideas atm is all XD
