Hello everyone! It's time for the announcement and plotting post for June!
OOC Housekeeping
- The Zodiac Network Post will go up June 1st. The game wide event log will go up June 4th. A separate log for the anime convention will go up June 4th as well.
- The bi-monthly AU workshop and CR plotting post will be going up June 11th.
- If you haven't already, please remember to check in for activity! Activity is due by the end of the month. Characters who apped in May will also need to check in.
- We have new mod helpers! Thanks again to Fae, Maggie, Saffy and TF for all your hard work!
- Just a reminder for anyone who hasn't joined yet, but we have a game discord! It's completely optional to join, but come in and say hi!
World Changes
- Teethed Squid can be off Kaisou beach and anywhere seafood is sold. Great.
- A Blockbuster that contains movies from other worlds can be found om Shopping Street.
- The local IKEA has been enchanted to be an infinite labyrinth. Don't get lost!
- Ariadne Thread can now be purchased in Undertown! This item will allow you to teleport out of Spirit Realms to the void Denny's parking lot.
- Cubchoos are now native to Kaisou's wilderness.
- Ai-Mart, a japanese convenience store, can now be found in the midtown area.
Town Events
Summer time is here! With school now officially over until September, students get to enjoy their long summer break! The weather during June will be very sunny and bright! So sunny in fact that you might want to wear sunscreen.
During the month we'll also be having our first player-run plot! The annual Kaisou Anime Convention will be held in the civic center during June! Grab some friends, get into cosplay, and have a great time! Thanks goes to Dante for running this plot!
6-Month Anniversary Celebration: Free Gacha!
As of June, Kaisou will have been running for 6 months now! To celebrate, all characters will get the chance to have 3 free gacha pulls. Comment to the gacha thread below to redeem your free regains. This will be available through June 30th.
Gate Event: Night Dimension
This month's Spirit Realm will be inspired by the game series NiGHTs! Some characters (ie, it's optional) will wake up to find certain aspects of themselves have been transformed into gems and stolen, making them lose aspects of themselves. The potential losses are:
- Courage/Power: Characters lose their courage and/or their physical abilities/powers
- Vitality/Youth: Characters become unnaturally physically older. Please note, this is only a physical change and age restrictions will still apply to children characters.
- Wisdom: Characters lose their common sense and/or impulse control. EMBRACE THE YOLO.
- Intelligence: Characters lose their academic-related intelligence. How does reading work again?
- Hope: Character becomes listless or extremely pessissmistic. Eeyore levels of pessimism.
These gems are being stolen by a being within the Spirit Realm. In order to retrieve them and restore people to normal, they will need to travel to the Night Dimension - a realm that's made up of people's dreams. Dreams both good and bad will take form in this realm, depending on where characters go. Either enjoy some pleasant dreamsscapes for a much needed reprieve, or face your nightmares to help retrieve the stolen pieces of yourself. While in the Spirit Realm, characters will have the ablity to fly- though they'll be stuck n a jesters outfit or silly costume while they do so. NiGHTS be like that.

About: Just your ordinary priest with an eyepatch. Very ordinary. Except for...well, everything about him. A coffee-loving, sarcastic, laidback man of God, Hansa is the type to make you think he's a shady person up to no good that couldn't possibly be a priest. And well, he sure is a mysterious guy, but surprise! His heart is in the right place. Probably. When he isn't addicted to playing Candy Crush on his phone, he can be found trolling people over the net, offering words of advice that may or may not be sound, or acting as a Krusnik-searching agent by night and picking fights because he's, well, kind of a big jock on the inside. Sometimes you're just vibing with life!
Event Plans: Local man is turning into a cyborg - in his canon, he's 70% metal, and the Hansa of Kaisou is going to continue to inch closer to that through regains, most likely. Also, Hansa apparently is a WINNER with the gacha and got a power to experience people's pasts through touch so if you want to play with that in like, a confession booth gone wrong scenario, hit me up! As far as Spirit Realm, I have no definite plans, but I'd love to maybe throw Hansa in there and have him be a grandpa punching things (also he has a literal feral past and a traumatic backstory involving his whole village getting destroyed so I'd love for people to see that and go WTFFFF).
