Welcome to the January Handwaved CR & AU workshop for Kaisou! We're super excited to have you! These posts are to help encourage old and new players to make new connections and find potential CR while designing your AU or figuring out what your OU character has been up to. If you're brand news, you can check out FAQ page and the app page to get a sense of what's going on!

If you're a player looking to app a new character:
Apps are always open for submission and get done the first and third weekends of the month. So once you got a clear idea of what you want, feel free to hop over to the application page! If you're already in the game, feel free to comment to this post as well to make new CR!

A reminder that in order to app either a Black Order or POKEGO AU you are required to have been in the game at least 3 months with another character. If you are rejoining the game after being gone awhile, you can count your past stint towards your 3 months, but it's recommended you look over the plot recap to see what you missed.

If you are a player with a character in game looking for CR:
You can use this post to comment with your character and established some handwaved CR or just come up with different ways for characters to meet!

Character Name: Leon Scott Kennedy
Canon: Resident Evil
Age: 28 (latest appearance in RE canon has him at 38)
Type: Black Order AU

About: rookie cop walks into a zombie apocalypse on his first day on the job. this somehow makes him qualified to train as a government agent meant to go after zombies and the like. yeah it’s been very traumatic for him. in this life, his job lasted a week before his precinct was besieged by demons and so many of his friends got killed or cursed, and he ended up coerced into the Black Order so his best friend would be safe. since the rebellion, he's been one of the Senior Guardians stationed in Kaisou, and holds true to the promise he gave to Tsuchigomori so long ago—that they'd be better than before, and carry the light forward.
Typical Activities: Leon's schedule varies, as he's a private eye and his cases take place any time of the day, not to mention his Black Order work. typically, when he isn't working, he likes to walk his dog in the morning, eat lunch at a diner, and then maybe hit the library just to read, like a nerd, or go to the movies to watch new movies that are coming out, also like a nerd. on the weekends he goes to the shooting range just to keep his hand in. people can find him at the movies, bc he really does like his movies, or, hilariously, checking out very off-beat record stores like the awful little hipster that he is. since the Unyielding fell, he's gotten back in touch with his parents, so he visits them regularly too. he is the ONE person living in the Crystal Tower, the weirdo.

Looking for: does anyone want to come hang out at the Crystal Tower with him??? please please please pretty please. other than that, Leon's an easy guy to get along with, he likely has helped you out at the shooting range or talked you into a particular movie! I would also adore like, people who are willing to spar with him, or people he can fuss over and be high-key protective of.

Despite not being in the Order anymore, Husk still checks up with Leon a lot. He probably drops by a couple times a month with some booze to just spend time talking about the good old bad old days and how the Order's doing now that there's new people at the head. Husk just like shooting the breeze.

being one of leon's co-workers, he probably makes regular visits to the crystal tower just to make sure leon's doing okay in that place on his own. and honestly because he's curious about the huge place, given there's nothing like that back in Fontaine.

he also likes to have chats with leon about his past experiences with the order and how it operated, as he's working to reform it with the others who have taken over--he'd enjoy any insight Leon is willing to share.

What with Leon getting the joy of stepping in to get Noa up to speed, I like the idea of awkward spars or shooting range trips. Just the wildest 'get to know your coworker/protégé', probably flooding into 'damn, that guy's weird, glad i'm not him' (from Both Sides,)

also expect noa to comment on that tower. wow. just you in here bud. what's the point man-
