Welcome to the January Handwaved CR & AU workshop for Kaisou! We're super excited to have you! These posts are to help encourage old and new players to make new connections and find potential CR while designing your AU or figuring out what your OU character has been up to. If you're brand news, you can check out FAQ page and the app page to get a sense of what's going on!
If you're a player looking to app a new character:
Apps are always open for submission and get done the first and third weekends of the month. So once you got a clear idea of what you want, feel free to hop over to the application page! If you're already in the game, feel free to comment to this post as well to make new CR!
A reminder that in order to app either a Black Order or POKEGO AU you are required to have been in the game at least 3 months with another character. If you are rejoining the game after being gone awhile, you can count your past stint towards your 3 months, but it's recommended you look over the plot recap to see what you missed.
If you are a player with a character in game looking for CR:
You can use this post to comment with your character and established some handwaved CR or just come up with different ways for characters to meet!

Character Name: Jun Nightroad (canon name: Jun Kohinata)

Age: He just turned 21!
Type: POKEGO AU!
About: Anime Nerd by day, Holy Knight by night!
Jun spent his childhood with a shady organization called Krusnik (info here) until he was rescued by his adoptive father Abel Nightroad. Since then he's been living in Kaisou where he attended Kaisou High and is currently enrolled at Kaisou University as a botany major! He also is a newer member of POKEGO (code name: Olive), and lives at the Fortress of Meropide where he can help keep an eye on Yggdrasil. Also yeah, he has holy knight powers that he inherited from a past life, though he tries to keep that on the downlow.
Personality wise, Jun tends to be pretty quiet and introverted, but he's capable of having conversations. He enjoys anime, reading and gardening - but also tends to be really curious! While he likes to pull pranks or joke around, he's a nice kid that likes to help people out without a second thought. That said, he does charge for SOME of his work- gotta earn a living man.
Typical Activities:
- Lives in the Fortress of Meropide, so it's easiest to find him there! He likes working in his greenhouse, hanging out in the cafeteria, spending time with his boyfriend Varian, or climbing into high spots to be alone.
- He also attends Kaisou University, as a quiet kid who sits in the back of class.
- You got an interest in anime? He's probably talked to you about it.
- Sometimes can be found at Cygnus Academy in the PICHU area where he works on research and POKEGO work.
- He regularly attends church at the Cathedral at the Cathedral hill, as well as volunteers to help.
- Sometimes at night he can be found standing on roofs throughout kaisou in his holy knight uniform (which is hooded and has a voice modulator). Why does he do this? Who knows.
Looking for: Fellow people living at the fortress or attending the university! Fellow church goers! Former survivors of Krusnik! Basically I'm open to a lot of things.

Zulius would sometimes run into him either at Cyngus or the Vogue and has absolutely asked him about Varian. He's very invested in it, he wants Jun to be happy!
Persephone seeks Jun out once in a while to catch up. She runs into him at Cathedral Hill when she's checking out her own shrine. She catches up because she cares about his life, which is a HIGH honour from her.

Zelos Wilder | Tales of Symphonia | Ronin OU
Canon: Tales of Symphonia
Age: 25
Type: He is pretending to be an AU, but he's actually an OU because Zelos can't make anything easy.
About:
For those who know: Zelos comes from the Kratos Route.
For those who don't know: Zelos was born and raised to be the "Chosen One" aka a big religious figure meant to save the world by dying. Except in actuality the whole religion was a sham created by an unhinged immortal middle schooler who was trying to create a perfect vessel for his dead sister while also partaking on some genocide on the side. After a crappy childhood helped him put together some of the pieces, Zelos decided he wanted Out and spent years playing various sides to achieve that. Unfortunately, in his particular timeline, this eventually led to his death.
After getting revived in Kaisou, he was eventually found by the sister of his Kaisou's counterpart (Belle). The Zelos in this world had died, and Belle was desperate for family - so Zelos decided to pose as her brother and take the chance to start a new life, doing his best to pretend he's not from another world entirely. He currently has an OnlyFans, where he makes a stupid amount of money.
Personality wise, Zelos is a mess. He acts like a pretty shallow playboy and is a definite asshole, but he's also highly intelligent and observant to everything that goes on around him. Unfortunately, he is also not fully sane, and tends to be extremely cynical and untrusting, holding almost everyone at arm's length. There is a good person at the core but my god, he has so much baggage.
Typical Activities:
- Zelos is honestly harder to find around Kaisou, but sometimes he'll hang out at bars in entertainment district.
- Sometimes you can find him at Belle's video store! Sometimes he helps out there, even if his knowledge of movies is suspiciously lacking for the brother a movie buff.
- He does have an active Onlyfans, please subscribe.
Looking for: I'm open to a lot of things! Fans of his content, people who have run into him around Kaisou? I'll be real he's not the easiest person to be buddy-buddy with on account of him being, well, him- but I"m happy to try to work stuff out.
