December Plotting & CR Post

Hello everyone! It's time for the announcement and plotting post for November!

OOC Housekeeping

• The Zodiac Network Post will go up December 1st, with a midmonth post going up December 15th. The game wide event log will go up December 4th, and there'll be a formal dance log posted on December 10th, as well the the AU workshop on the same day.
• If you haven't already, please remember to check in for activity! Activity is due by the end of the month.
• Regains are now being once a day during mod office hours (2pm EST to 4pm EST). Please plan accordingly!
• If you haven't obtained your free gacha from the November Event, you have until the end of November to do so!
• Just a reminder for anyone who hasn't joined yet, but we have a game discord for current players! It's completely optional to join, but come in and say hi!

World Changes

• Doom and Robot Unicorn Attack are now available to play through the Libra App.
• A cabbage cart can be found in Kaisou. Prone to destruction.
• La Grand Bistrot, a french restaurant run by rats, is available on Shopping Street.
• There is another Goose.
• Turtleducks can now be found in Kaisou.
• Combat Shells can be used for practicing fighting now.
• The Birthday Skeleton is now here to give gifts on your character's birthday.
• The amusement park Phoenix Wonderland is now open!

Side quests
New Side Quests have been added for the month of December! Go ahead and sign up! If you haven't turned in quests for December gacha points, you can still do so until the end of the month! However, signing up for any November quests is now closed.

Holiday Points, New Powers, and New Feature: Monster Change!
Since it's the holidays, anyone who checks in to AC for November will receive double regain points (so 8 if you check in normally, and 4 if you hiatused) to spend in December! Additionally, anyone who apps will receive an extra 4 points upon approval.

Stumped on what to spend it on? Well fret not! The Elemental Power Page has been updated to add a bunch of new powers for the different elements. Check them out!

We are also excited to introduce a new option for players: Monster Changes! The exposure to the Spirit Realm has been already been causing powers to manifest this past year, but now for some it's starting to change them even further. Embrace your monster loving dreams and have your characters change into one of the many options. Characters are allowed to purchase 2 monster change features per month unless the character is either possessed of cursed, and then they can purchase 3. Read about it more on the elemental regain page!

Town Events
The entire town seems to have recovered from the sunless incident and things have become more peaceful! Normal NPCs will once again no longer notice supernatural oddities, and snow begins to fall at the beginning of December - winter is here baby.

Kaisou has gone into full holiday spirit mode. Basically like any town in the United States, holiday decorations are everywhere and you can't escape. However unlike every other town, some of the decorations are a little more enchanted. We got:

• Magic Mistletoe: Should a pair find themselves both underneath the mistletoe, they will feel a compulsion to display some kind of physical affection towards each other. It can be a classic kiss or a hug or headpat - play it out however you wish!


• Mistlefoe: It's like the mistletoe, except when you go under it you feel the compulsion to fight either verbally or physically with whoever is also underneath it.


• Enchanted Candy Canes: If an adult or teenager consumes one of these candy canes, they will become a kid. It's up to you if they have the mind and memories of a kid or not! The effect is temporary, lasting 1-3 days per candy cane consumed.


In addition, there will be a formal charity ball being run by Yoosung's family! All members of the Libra app will be invited, so dressed to the nines and dance the night away! There will be a separate event log posted for this written by Soap. Thank you for the event Soap!

IC Secret Santa
Sign-ups for IC Secret Santa are now closed! Assignments for secret santa are coming out as we speak. Please do your best to make sure your secret santa receiver gets their gift! You can thread something out or just comment to their inbox about what they received (or send them a message if they don't have an inbox).

ICly Secret Santa assignments will be going out December 1st along with the Zodiac post, so look forward to that!

Gate Event: Christmas Town
This month's gate will be Christmas Town from Nightmare Before Christmas. Go explore the great north pole and world responsible for bringing the holiday spirit every December! While it's a completely safe realm, any skeletons will need to be chaperoned while in certain parts of Christmas Town thanks to an incident some years past.

While in Christmas Town, you will be requested to help the elves out with the tasks needed to be done before Christmas! Should you do so, you'll be rewarded with a customized gift to give to someone else (as this is the season of giving). If you're interested, comment down below about the gift you're giving! Edit: To clarify, characters can only make one customized gift to give to another.

Overall this month is meant to be a fun and laidback month since we know December is a busy time of year for folks. So please relax and enjoy what you can. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

So let me preface this by saying Amal is 100% going to help out around Christmas Town. However, in his year+ in Kaisou, he's heard that Santa knows when you're sleeping and knows when you're awake, and deduced that he must be some kind of god summoned by kids who want presents.

How would Santa respond to being asked for a duel? Politely, of course!

Amal why are you like this.

Anyway Santa will be friendly and polite with everyone that approaches him! If Amal asks for a duel, he'll chuckle and initially turn it down because he really isn't much into fighting these days and this really isn't a good idea.

However if Amal is insistent or convincing enough, he'll be able to convince Santa for a tussle. The old man will insist on going outside so they don't damage anything in the workshop. Once outside, the holiday spirit will shift from his short and chubby form to one that's a lot more built and towers over Amal. Anyone who is within range with power sensing ability? Will start feeling a power so immense that it's either almost crushing and/or their noses begin to bleed.

Anyway, it's a short tussle. Amal won't be able to a single hit on him. While he'll will be able to dodge some blows, eventually Santa will land a hit strong enough to send Amal flying so far he goes sailing out of the realm. But don't worry Amal! A nice warm fur coat will appear wherever Amal ends up landing to break his fall. And the coat is his to keep too, as a thank you gift for the fight and because Santa feels that you MUST be cold in that outfit of yours.

Absolutely fucking incredible. Amal will have a great time in Christmas Town this month. 10/10. He will tell kids that Santa is real and kicked Amal's ass. He's sixteen feet tall and built like a fucking truck and that's how he's able to haul around all those presents!!!! Obviously.

Also your favorite miscreant will wear that coat for the rest of winter. Santa fucking rules.
