Fall Concert Auditions
As mentioned by Elliot in the Zodiac Network post, there are auditions being held for solo spots in the upcoming school concert! There is one solo spot available per grade level.
In the interest of fairness, this is a sign up post for any high school character who auditions (or in the case of the freshman class where auditions are ICly mandatory- makes an actual real attempt to audition and doesn't bomb it on purpose).
Sign ups will be open until October 8th, in which the character who wins the solo will be determined by RNG (if there's a disparity in skill, we'll say they just had a better audition overall or what they did worked better with the rest of the concert. It happens!). If there aren't any signed up for a grade, then it'll go to an NPC.
Students can perform any kind of music for their audition. Vocals, musical instruments, etc. Feel free to be creative with it. It just has to work as a solo piece.
This is mostly an opportunity to give high school students more CR and plotting stuff about their school life! The concert itself will take place in November, so you're free to have your character working on rehearsals and what not.
And for reference for those not familiar with American school grades:
In regards to age range and which grade, it depends what age they'll be turning on their next birthday. So if a kid is 15 but has their 16th birthday in April, they'd be a Sophomore. Summer birthdays can go either way depending on the school, so just pick whatever grade you think suits them best.
EDIT @ 10/10: SIGNS UP ARE NOW CLOSED
The following characters have gained solos!
9th Grade: Snow White
10th Grade: NPC
11th Grade: Moana
12th Grade: NPCs
The audition results can be handwaved as being posted this week in the music classroom! Congrats to Snow and Moana!

Character Name: Fern
Grade Level: Senior
Anything else?: Fern is going to be shredding on the flute.
I'm also not going to actually sign Hunter up since I don't reasonably think he'd be able to get a chair, but it is safe to assume he would at least try out.
