Hello Kaisou!

Starting today is the beginning of nominations for Kaisou High School's ASB Student Council!

Who can participate:

Any and all teenagers who attend Kaisou High School

When will results be posted?

October 31st

What are the positions and how would they be "explained" to characters ICly if asked?

ASB President - The head of the whole council, will work closely with students, teachers, and parents in and outside of school, "say goodbye to any and all free time," and has the final say on whether or not events and fundraisers can be held or new clubs can be formed, must attend all school-wide events, must be good at problem-solving

ASB Vice-President - Second in command does all the same things as the president if the president can't be there for any reason, and is deciding vote in a tie vote on the council, "say goodbye to your free time as well," must also be good at problem-solving

ASB Secretary - Keeper of the notes, minutes, aware of all the budgets available to everyone and everything, master of scheduling and calendars of all school-wide events, brings all meetings to order, brings any and all concerns to the president and vice-president, "also has no free time"

ASB Clubs Secretary - In charge of making sure all the clubs are run fairly, listens to any complaints or concerns of clubs, sees to it all clubs are following the rules, works closely with club teachers, aware of club budgets and if clubs want to fundraise they're the ones to ask, master of club calendar and scheduling

ASB Sports Secretary - In charge of making sure all the sport teams are run fairly, listens to any complaints or concerns of sports, sees to it all sports are following the rules, works closely with coaches, aware of sports budgets, if sports want to fundraise or hold a pep-rally they're the ones to ask, must attend ALL sports rallies for EVERY sport, must attend at least 1 game of every sports team at the school (this is waived if Sports Secretary is part of a sport themselves)

ASB Dances and Events Secretary - In charge of all dances, fundraisers, concerts, and events outside of clubs and sports, "biggest budget," "most popular position," "most liked student council member," works closely with the community, must attend every event and dance not held by club or sports, master of events and dance schedules

Senior President - Point of contact for all seniors not related to clubs or sports to bring concerns to student council, must attend all student council meetings

Junior President - Point of contact for all juniors not related to clubs or sports to bring concerns to student council, must attend all student council meetings

Sophomore President - Point of contact for all sophomores not related to clubs or sports to bring concerns to student council, must attend all student council meetings

Freshman President - Point of contact for all freshmen not related to clubs or sports to bring concerns to student council, must attend all student council meetings

I want to nominate my character OOCly but they wouldn't nominate themselves ICly!:

WORRY NOT! Kaisou High School has a unique "write-in" candidate option. ICly characters who win would then be asked if they want the job and if not, it would go to the next highest votes.

Can my character run for multiple positions?

Yes, absolutely, but they can only win one spot.

What if no one runs for a specific position?

NPCs will fill any and all empty spots

What does their campaign look like (optional): He will avoid mentioning his family at all costs, since he's sometimes accused of being classist. (He is and isn't ashamed but he does want to do a good job.) He'll be honest and up front that he wants to use this to get some experience working with others to prepare for college and his future job prospects. He'll do his best to reassure anybody if they come to him with concerns.

Honestly, he's not expecting to win. He wants to but he's believes most people have a negative view of him and he's never really fought it before. He'll be disappointed but not too upset if he loses. He'll be shocked beyond all belief if he actually manages to win.

What does their campaign look like (optional): It starts off with Hunter wanting to be a good leader and make sure everything is rule-driven and orderly, but quickly devolves into fighting Varian with a smear campaign and I'm so sorry it's just terrible.
