Help Wanted: NPCS for May Event

Hey everyone!

As players already know, there's a couple factions run by the mods - Zodiac and POKEGO. During the May event, characters will be meeting the third and final mod-run faction: The Black Order. To quote what's been put on the faction page:

The Black Order is one of the more enigmatic factions among paranormal circles. Funded and supported in secret by numerous religious organizations, members of the Black Order believe strongly in protecting the numerous holy grounds found within the Spirit Realm. Agents of the Black Order, known as Guardians, are renown for their combat prowess and abilities that far surpass normal abilities. While they have a long sorted history of attempting to restrict access to the Spirit Realm in any capacity, in the modern era they usually keep their presence concealed unless you attempt to interfere a gate that has been deemed as "sacred". Beyond that, little is known about them or what they do outside the purview of people. Even those who encounter a Black Order Guardian will have trouble recalling any identifying details about them. Just who are they, and where did they get their power?

Unlike Zodiac and POKEGO who are consistently present, the Black Order will only make their appearance during specific plots, with their first appearance being in May. And since we want to leave an impact with this first appearance, the best way to do that is with NPCs! However since the mod does not have time (or energy or desire) to run the NPC by themselves, we thought it'd be much more fun to give players the opportunity to play NPCs! Players will be allowed to pick characters that they want, provided they fit the criteria of the needed NPC.

The NPCs we're looking for this plot are:

AU characters who serve as a Black Order Guardian, meaning they'd be willing to work for a secretive organization and have combat skills. Guardians will have access to all of their canon abilities, barring any actual gamebreaking ones.

They do not have to be of a specific religion or highly religious, but they should at least agree or are willing to go along with the Black Order's mission. They also should not be the type to divulge all of their Order's secrets (though blabbing about things here and there is fine. Just no big exposes!)

Will not have access to the Libra network.

NPC Players must be around in May and able to tag back in a timely manner (aka respond to NPC threads at least once per every two days). For NPC player's sanity, there will be a cap on how many threads you'll have to do (about 5 threads unless you're willing to do more).

NPC players will also need to be reachable to contact either on discord or plurk!

NPCs will depart after the May event ends. If you become attached to your NPC character and want to make them a permanent character, you'll need to app an AU iteration that's not part of the Black Order.

Canon characters are recommended due to the brevity of their appearance, but OCs will be accepted as well.

What about characters who have combat abilities but of the total mundane variety, so with no powers? Is it just better to go for a character who already has canon abilities, or do the AUs get to have setting magic.

The AU characters will get their own setting magic, if you so desire (or you could just full on go badass normie)! So characters with mundane abilities are still welcomed!
