Hello everyone! It's time for the announcement and plotting post for December!

OOC Housekeeping

The Zodiac Network Post will go up December 1st, with a midmonth post going up December 15th. There will be one event log, that'll be posted December 15th.
If you haven't already, please remember to check in for activity! Activity is due by the end of the month!
This month, every person who checks in for November AC or applies in December will get 8 points rather than 4!
Just a reminder for anyone who hasn't joined yet, but we have a game discord for current players! It's completely optional to join, but come in and say hi!

World Changes

Harumasa fanworks are now published books!
Happy Home Paradise resort is now open in the ocean past the Harbor!
Floette are now native to Kaisou!
The Vogue has a new restaurant!
PICHU has a Pokemon center!
Meropide now has a theater room!
Crystal tower received a lot of upgrades including a new paint job, additional furniture, a pool, and elevators!

Faction Updates
POKEGO: After discovering Kitakami, they now have located some tera crystals that'll help them get Herba Mystica! However they've been completely siphoned of their magical energy. POKEGO will put their heads together and piece together the best way to repower them is to transport in some tera crystals from the gate in Spain. Unfortunately, traveling during the holiday season is an expensive nightmare... so this will have to wait until this month (aka keep backtagging the Kitakami venture).

As for their holiday presents, Professor Oak will be sending each POKEGO member a giftbasket full of Pokemon-friendly treats, as well as a free TM for your character's pokemon to use! Please comment down below what TM you'd like!

Zodiac: It's the holiday season, so you know what it's time for- the dreaded holiday potluck. Prepare your best dishes and do your best to outshine Janet's seasonless potato salad! Also as of a holiday bonus, characters officially employed at Zodiac (including Viktor) will be allowed to cash in for an additional grab bag during goodwill this month!

Black Order: Since Black Order are technically essential workers, they aren't ensured to get time off. As such, the Order will compensate that by giving them increased holiday pay as well as a free weapon of their choice! The weapon is non-powered, but it can be any kind of weapon that the character wishes. Comment below to cash in on your weapon!

City Events
This month, these things will be going on in the city:

- It will be a Light Element month! This means the Light element will be stronger, while the Shadow element will be weaker. Weather wise, it's going to be idyllic winter weather! There will be plenty of snow, but it won't be TOO cold (yet). The Spirit Vein will also light up the sky with vivid light colors.

- In the Kanto region, there will be several outbreaks of psychic, electric, and fairy-type pokemon! If you're hoping to catch pokemon of that type, this is the month to try your luck! Otherwise be careful not to get eaten.

- At the Pokemon Contest Hall, this month will be a grand contest! The year ends with a bang, as a large scale talent and beauty competition takes place! Pokémon can participate in either a large talent competition or a beauty competition. There is also a fashion competition that gives out yearly themes! This is considered the biggest competition of the year.

- This month will contain a Supermoon during the dates of December 4th to December 6th. Due to it being a supermoon, the pull of the full moon will feel stronger than usual! Play with that as you will. This should be the final supermoon of the year!

- The Christmas season is in full swing in Kaisou! There are mall santas, christmas decorations everywhere, christmas sales- basically it's just a full on Christmas time!

These will be starting up at the start of the month. There won't be any mod run event logs on these events, so feel free to make your own posts on it!

Big Event: Christmas Party
This month, there will be no extra Spirit Gates, so characters can have a peaceful holiday season!

HOWEVER, in the middle of the month, there will be a large scale Christmas Party in the Fortress of Meropide, hosted by Santa. Characters will have the option of hosting their own attractions at the Christmas party (do some spheal races, host a marathon of christmas movies, help out with the cooking!) not unlike a cultural festival. Basically, it's a holiday celebration that's aimed to be fun and not torture (take a hint Tom Turkey) IC details about that will be coming from Wriothesley!

In the meantime, Santa himself will be present and characters will have the chance to battle him! Please note due to sheer power levels, that it impossible to BEAT Santa - but you're welcome to see how long you last against Father Christmas! There will also be other other characters to spar with as well (such as Wriothesley, Veldora, and anyone else who wants to sign up)!

And speaking of gifts, Santa will be offering the following:

For characters who are under 18 (Eve, Kni, and Blackwargreymon), Santa will give you a free gift of your choice that's worth 2 or less regain points. Basically, it's a bonus Birthday Skeleton for you! These items can be redeems on the Regain page anytime between now and the end of December.

For all characters, they will be able to request Santa crafts a gift for another person. This gift can be any item that could fit in a small room, and have magical abilities totaling up to 4 points from the crafting system. For more details about this, head over to this comment!

For characters who are going to take part in the Santa battles, they will receive a mod decided present from Santa! Sign ups for battling Santa are here!

The Event log will be going up on December 15th.
