Hello everyone! It's time for the announcement and plotting post for November!
OOC Housekeeping
- The Zodiac Network Post will go up November 1st, with a midmonth post going up November 15th. There will be one event log, that'll be posted November 15th.
- If you haven't already, please remember to check in for activity! Activity is due by the end of the month!
- We have added additional elemental powers for all the elements, as well as more powers for Vision wielders! There should be more coming this month too, so stay tune...
- Just a reminder for anyone who hasn't joined yet, but we have a game discord for current players! It's completely optional to join, but come in and say hi!
World Changes
- The Two Point Museum is now open!
- The following TMs are now available: Submission, Shadow Ball, and Hyper Voice
- The Paldea Sub Shop is now open!
- Chao Gardens are now found in Meropide, Blue Fish Park, and Undertown
- The PICHU animal shelter received a terrible paint job
- The Crystal Tower received outlets and the first five floors are now safe from harm!
- The Fortress of Meropide now has a bodega and a moogle item shop!

Faction Updates
POKEGO: Due to plot timings, there's been some rearrangements with the Spain trip! The Herba Mystica will be shown to POKEGO this month, and they will begin searching Kanto in search of more. While they are searching, after coming across an unusual bloodmoon ursaluna, they will discover in the northern part of the realm a new area known as Kitakami! This region will have Tera crystals... but unfortunately, the much more toxic Ether Crystals have also begun growing amongst the Tera crystals. POKEGO will need to work together with others in order to clear out the more dangerous ether crystals before it affects the wildlife.

Zodiac: Well, good news! Jarry is okay and is back at the office. Don't think about the other guys. For the month of Thanksgiving, you guys have the option of helping out the Gacha Goodwill as it does its famous black friday sale!
Black Order: While your plotline is on hold while the plotrunning mod moves states (good luck Fae!), the Black Order will be tasked with helping out POKEGO and others with the situation in Kitakami!
City Events
This month, these things will be going on in the city:
- It will be a Shadow Element month! This means the Shadow element will be stronger, while the Light element will be weaker. Weather wise, it's going to be dark. The days will be shorter and the nights will feel even darker. Also the weather is all around that typical November gray and depressing. Fun!
- In the Kanto region, there will be several outbreaks of dark, ghost, and poison-type pokemon! If you're hoping to catch pokemon of that type, this is the month to try your luck! Otherwise be careful not to get eaten. In additions, if you are in the northern region of Kanto during the night, you may catch sight of the Bloodmoon Ursaluna.
- At the Pokemon Contest Hall, this month will be a Photography competition! Pokémon owners are encouraged to assemble an album full of photos of times spent with their beloved pokemon- reflecting the friendships and adventures. There is also a side competition for sleep, where Pokémon and their trainers are given spots to nap and are judged on just how restful a sleep they have.
- This month will contain a Supermoon during the dates of November 4th to November 6th. Due to it being a supermoon, the pull of the full moon will feel stronger than usual! Play with that as you will.
- As the season of Saimhain ends during the early part of November, normal residents of the city will being to stop noticing the paranormal once more.
These will be starting up at the start of the month. There won't be any mod run event logs on these events, so feel free to make your own posts on it!
Spirit Realm Event: Kitakami and THANKSGIVING
The Spirit Realm Event will have two parts of it! The first will be the discovery of Kitakami, a new part of the Kanto realm! Characters there will be exploring that area and also helping clear out some toxic ether crystals before they cause harm.
But the main event will be a Thanksgiving Plot. Players can opt in to have their characters will find themselves in a Thanksgiving-themed realm sorted different table groups (decided by the players. The groups can be any size that you wish). The realm will expect each group to cook a meal (in a shared kitchen not suited for cooking multipled thanksgiving meals), have a thanksgiving dinner, and partake in other thanksgiving-themed activities before they are allowed to leave. Imagine it's like the Saw movies, but instead of gore and torture- it's thanksgiving with your family/friends/coworkers/rivals/acquaintances you met at the bus stop.
And to make it even more
The spirt realm log will be going up on November 15th. Please note we are not having a lighter event log this year due to mod work/time restraints, but players who wish to not participate in the horror plot are free to engage with any of the above mentioned City events or their own plots!

About: baby boy who grew up in the order but also does side work as a model. He's pretty quiet and too himself most of the time. Becoming his friend unlocks the clingy, teasing, ragebater dlc where he will do anything to make you happy, even at his own expense.
Event Plans: Ivan was a child the last time he attended something like this. He also doesn't know how to cook or do anything helpful, so his aid will mostly be moral support.
Being without a pokemon, he'll be helping out with the Kitakami exploration, but it will probably be minor. He'll handle your paperwork and making sure things go where they should.
He'll also just be around in general. Ivan's just been spending most of his time working or staring at the shoebill that lives on his balcony.
Anything else? Fun fact: Ivan is apparently supposed to be an extrovert according to canon. At the same time, canon has a 'ivan standing by himself staring into space like the demon child in a horror movie' habit, and never shows him around other people that he isn't completely ignoring. He has other friends. You're supposed to just take his word for it. Anyway I couldn't find an image, so here's this instead.

About: Just your average journalism student at the University who totally didn't get kidnapped and forced to participate in life or death trials at the whim of some weird spider plant entity. Not at all. Now she's attending school and studying as much of the spiritual realms as she can, to try to figure out how to keep the entity from taking more people and getting the other Survivors out.
She can be found wandering Kaisou getting information for the school newspaper she works for, looking for gossip for (unofficial gossip post) Off The Record, and helping MaoMao with the garden at the house she won.
Event Plans: Nothing yet! If anyone would like to adopt her for a thanksgiving table, I would enjoy joining in! She's shadow element, so she's going to be dealing with that power buff.
Anything else? She's been 'blessed' with anemo and cryo visions. So stay tuned for SCIENCE. or something.

About: Agy's a recent arrival to Kaisou, sent here by PokeGo to study all the things. She owns a clothing boutique where she sells the clothes she hand makes and offers tailoring and clothing repair services. She has two Pokemon with her, Weft the Leavanny who helps with the fiber work, and Weave, a Furfrou who serves as an assistance animal. Come by, say hello, or go on an adventure to a Pokemon area with her!
PS: she doesn't have memories of her canon life yet.
Event Plans: I will probably throw her into Kitakami, since she's a member of PokeGo, and this is her professional sphere. Unsure on the Thanksgiving table event, but open if any group would like to add her!

About: A chronically ill pharmacology student in her second month of trying to adjust to this new version of reality she was thrown into. She can mostly be found at the university, usually “borrowing” one of the lab rooms with “permission”, or at the hospital when she forgets to eat. She also doesn’t know about the whole past life thing yet and will surely take that well.
Event Plans: Carolyn has no plans yet. Since starting university she hasn’t gone home for the holidays, or ever, so as far as she is aware it’s another Thanksgiving in the dorms.
Anything else? Her sanity is slowly slipping but she has been introduced to a whole new world of ingredients so experiments will surely be going on, be wary of anything she makes.
