Facilier can sense an easy mark and Jin Ling practically screams it as he comes to Facilier's table. Facilier deals out his cards- Jin Ling will find they figures on the cards look suspiciously like himself and people he knows. Facilier will spin a sad tale of a boy who got taken by the supernatural (I know a thing or two 'bout that myself, Son, I can relate, ain't easy) and desperately wants to see his family again. Another card shows a smoky presence- his possession - Facilier waxes poetic about how Jin Ling feels torn, wanting the spirit gone but also not wanting to be alone. He can't remove the possession (takes more magic than what this poor old sinner can do) but he CAN make it so Jin Ling never has to be worried about being alone anymore. As if to prove it, his final card shows Jin Ling, with his spirt, with his family, all happy and contented. All it would cost him is a handshake and the promise of a future favour, hardly anything, really.
As we agreed in chat - Facilier will shake Jin Ling's hand and give him High Sense Presence meaning from this point on he can sense presence of others within 100 feet. Not just people, but ALL living things. Right down to tiny ants. Should Jin Ling have concerns about this, Facilier will shrug and say he gave Jin Ling exactly what he wanted. "Can't feel abandoned when you can feel everyone around you." All sales are final and if Jin Ling tries to push the issue, Facilier will just vanish himself away in a puff of purple smoke.
