Question 3 follow up: That would be perfectly fine, yep!

Knuckles monster: Feel free to have the monster appearance match the characters general appearance! It doesn't have to be an exact 1:1 for realistic animals if looking a certain way would fit better. For instance, because Jun has green hair, so his wolf form is based on an arctic wolf but there's green streaks in his fur to reflect his hair color.

Complicated question: They are more or less the same abilities and/or have overlap! Sometimes in cases, the monster version will be the cheaper of the two- basically as a bit of a perk for being that specific monster type (or it only works when you're in your monster form, depending on people's interpretation). Some of these abilities are also listed because they are abilities commonly associated with monsters OR they are abilities that'd people be normally locked out of by elements (example: flight is usually a wind-only ability, but you can get around that for non-wind characters if you pick a monster that can fly). Basically if there's an ability you already bought, we're not going to make you buy it twice (nor would they stack if purchased twice either - power boosts are used for strengthening of skills).

That's because there haven't been too many updates since the November update, truthfully. Looking through the announcements, the only thing that'd be considered potentially notable (aka more than a singular small update/addition) is that there were additional monster types added in December/January-- and I think that purely got left out of the OOC post purely by mistake. Which for that, we're sorry about! A lot of stuff was going on for the mod team both game-wise and IRL at that time, and adding that to the OOC post must've slipped through the cracks.

Hopefully moving forward, between the discord announcements being changed to something more easily shareable and making notes of major changes on the OOC post- we can make sure it's easier to receive updates!
