Hello everyone! It's time for the announcement and plotting post for June!

OOC Housekeeping

The Zodiac Network Post will go up June 1st, with a midmonth post going up June 15th. The event log will be posted June 4th.
If you haven't already, please remember to check in for activity! Activity is due by the end of the month!
Interested in playing a Black Order Zealot NPC? We're still taking volunteers for July and August!
The June AU & CR Workshop is up! On there is information about the upcoming Zodiac Employee AU option.
Item Transfers are now available if you want to pass an item to another character!
Just a reminder for anyone who hasn't joined yet, but we have a game discord for current players! It's completely optional to join, but come in and say hi!

World Changes

Recuria Quartz and the Raiden Element Gem are now available for purchase!
Big Donut is now open on the outskirts of town.

Side quests
Sidequests for June are now available! May quests are now no longer available to sign up for, but you can redeem quest logs for gacha points.

POKEGO Update
POKEGO had a rather quiet month overall, so not too much to report there! Congrats on recruiting two new members of the team.

This month, POKEGO will be tasked with investigating the Spirit Realm. Just how exactly does a doll spirit realm work, and how does it effect the real world? Also for Azalea specifically, he'll be tasked with making sure the new app runs smoothly.

Black Order Update
Welp. You guys sure did kill two more zealots. With the Zealots going MIA, it won't take too long for the Order to piece together what happened.

Expect absolute radio silence from the Order this month. No mission message, no pay. Maybe you'd find it a relief not to hear from the bosses, but for some reason you can't help but feel like this is the eye of the hurricane.

New App: Gemini
Starting June 1st, the Libra App users will have their own private network to post on! It's called Gemini (~~unless the vote changes in the last couple hours anyway~~), and it'll be a network that neither Zodiac or the Black Order (outside the player characters) can see. For now, it'll just allow for network posts and private messages to other people on the app. The Libra app will still be available for all it's other features (side quests, games, child leash, etc).

City Events
With June comes Pride month! Like previous years, the city will be full of Pride celebrations and rainbows abound. The Vogue will also be holding it's annual drag show competition, with a 5k prize. Flyers for this event are already being posted around town. Weather wise, the weather will be pleasant summer weather, with the Spirit Vein appearing in rainbow colors with the Light Element at full strength.

Spirit Realm Event: Barbie Land
This month's Spirit Realm event will be based on the Barbie Movie! Characters will be asked to go to Barbie Land, a world full of Barbie dolls, to help the Barbies and Kens deal with a new wave of existential crisis that the dolls have been having. Enjoy a world made entirely of plastic!

While there, the characters will be expected to pretend to either be a Barbie or a Ken. The differences are:

Barbies: Are amazing, talented and beautiful. You can be ANYTHING you want to be! Literally any job ever. Astronaut? Doctor? President? The world is your oyster! Everyone LOVES you! You live in a Dreamhouse- which you understand is some kind of mansion. It's like the world revolves around you- because it does. You have a fabulous wardrobe at all times. Your feet are permanently on tip-toes, ready for your glamorous high-heels. Your hair is always perfect.
Kens: Basically exist only to simp for Barbies. You get weird, pointless, nonsensical jobs like "beach" or "sword" or "ice cream". These seem more like hobbies than actual jobs, but everyone in Barbie Land act as if "beach" is a legitimate career choice. People tend to forget about you after you've spoken, and if a Barbie is around? Forget about it. You do not live in a Dreamhouse. You live outside. Like a stray animal. You still have a great wardrobe though.

Players can choose whether their characters are a Barbie or a Ken, as well as their assigned occupation. For the Kaisou version of the plot, Gender is not a factor in if someone is a Barbie or Ken. Males can be Barbies, Females can be Ken, and Non-Binaries can also do what they want.

If you know you want your character to be a Barbie/Ken but want to randomize the job, just specify that in your comment and we can RNG that result too!
