Hello everyone! It's time for the announcement and plotting post for April!
OOC Housekeeping
- The Zodiac Network Post will go up April 1st, with a midmonth post going up April 15th. An event log will be posted on April 4th.
- If you haven't already, please remember to check in for activity! Activity is due by the end of the month!
- Interested in getting a handmade crafted item? We now can offer those through our Magic Crafting System!
- Don't forget your March freebies! Head over to the regain page and get 3 free monster changes, as well as a free 3-point ability of ANY element if you've done a duel thread in the event log. These freebies will be available until the closing of office hours on Sunday, March 31st (aka 4pm EST).
- If you wish to have your character get a Persona-style dungeon, you have until March 31st at 11:59pm EST to sign up!
- Interested in having your character help build a new network? You can still sign up over here!
- Just a reminder for anyone who hasn't joined yet, but we have a game discord for current players! It's completely optional to join, but come in and say hi!
World Changes
- The Hydro Statue of Seven sits in the harbor and allows for the harbor's water to be breathable!
- Ciacco Pizza is now available to order.
- Beelzejuice can now be ordered wherever liquor is sold
- Windwheel Aster now grows in Kaisou.
Side quests
Sidequests for April will be available this weekend! March quests are now no longer available to sign up for, but you can redeem quest logs for gacha points.
POKEGO Update
With all the chaos that happened this month for POKEGO members, Professor Oak will be sending each POKEGO member a personalized gift card to a place he thinks they will like. He'll also be sending them an additional pokeball if they want to catch a new comforting companion.
As for this month, they will be asked to help an old research colleague of Professor Oak, the museum curator Blathers. Please go to the Spirit Realm and help Blathers complete his museum by collecting bugs, fish, works of art, and fossils.

Black Order Update
With the death of Teresa, the situation in the Black Order has become much more tense. They have ordered the Kaisou team to investigate the murder and find a possible culprit by the end of April. In addition, they have also sealed Blade's powers until he is proven innocent. You get the strong impression that there will be consequences if they fail to turn up any results.
And if the situation wasn't difficult enough, the Black Order will be requiring each Guardian to wear a truth bracelet while they are in the city. This bracelet is enchanted to give an alert anytime someone lies while communicating with the Order member (and the bigger the lie, the stronger the reaction). This bracelet works both in person and over the network (if they are talking to the Black Order member directly anyway). It will also go off if the Guardian wearing the bracelet lies.
City Events
The city will be experiencing a relatively calm month! Spring is in full swing, and the vegetation will be growing at a much faster rate than normal, due to the Spirit Realms energy being so potent at this point. In addition, some trees themselves will begin to walk around, and Libra App Users will need to help get the trees to go back to where they were before.
Free Gacha
For the month of April, every character is eligible for three free gacha pulls! In order to redeem it, go ahead and comment to the comment thread on this post! Like previous times, the mods will be doing a limited number of gacha pulls each day during regain office hours, starting on Wednesday the 27th.
ICly, these gacha items will be appearing in gift boxes in balloons as part of our plot. If your character heads to the Spirit Realm they will be there, otherwise they are free to find these gift balloons floating around the city.
Spirit Realm Event: Animal Crossing
This month's spirit realm will be based on Animal Crossing! Tom Nook will be reaching out to the App Users and asking them to help build his island community. Characters who head there will find themselves arriving only with the the clothes on their back and their phone, leaving them to try to build the island with whatever they can forage there (though for the Black Order, it means the truth bracelet will ALSO be left behind while they are on the island). Characters will start off by living in tents on an uninhabited island, but through the power of friendship, a little manual labor, and good luck, they will be able to make a new island paradise. Or they can spend the month living in a tent surrounded by trash. Your call!
In addition, characters have the option of appearing as animal versions of themselves while they are on the island (so think like an animal crossing villager), though they can remain human if you prefer!
Since there are way too many characters for everyone to get their tent/house, we will be sorting characters into groups of 4 that will be expected to share a tent/house together. Your group will have full control over your living arrangements, from where they live on the island (Map here), to how far they manage to upgrade it, to how it's furnished. You will be allowed to choose one of your roommates, while the others will be RNGed by the mods. There will be no penalty if your character chooses to ignore your living arrangements and stay somewhere else, but we wanted to provide a good CR opportunity for folks!

ETA: Due to limited slots, we've opened up a secret 5th slot for all the houses! Houses will be considered full once they have 5 members. If two people sign up at partners, then their unlucky home will be one with 6 members....gonna be crowded!
