Hello everyone! It's time for the announcement and plotting post for December!

OOC Housekeeping

The Zodiac Network Post will go up December 1st, with a midmonth post going up December 15th. An event log will be posted on December 4th.
An AU Workshop post will be going up December 9th!
If you're interested in IC Secret Santa, sign ups are open until Monday, November 27th, at 6pm EST!
If you haven't already, please remember to check in for activity! Activity is due by the end of the month!
Just a reminder for anyone who hasn't joined yet, but we have a game discord for current players! It's completely optional to join, but come in and say hi!

World Changes

Devil and Vital Stars are now available for purchase!
The Play Rough TM is now available to buy for your Pokémon!

Side quests
Side quests are now available! These are the same side quests that were introduced in the middle of November and will run through December! Quest points will still reboot at the end of the month, so you can get three points for November and three points for December.

HOLIDAY BONUS: Double points and free gacha!
For the November AC, everyone who checks in will receive double points for the month. This means if you check in, you will receive 8 points, while people who hiatus will get 4 points. This will also extend to anyone who apps during the month of December, as they will get 8 points to start with rather than 4!

Also, during December we will be giving out three free gacha pulls to every character! If you wish to redeem your gacha pulls, please comment to the gacha thread below! Like the previous times we do gacha, in order to space out the work we will be doing 10-30 gacha pulls a day based on how many mods are available. We thank you for your patience!

In return, the mods have a request. Starting this month, we ask that during the AC period (the 28th until the 30th/31st) -- you check in for the month's Activity and get it processed BEFORE you purchase any regains. Once your AC is processed, you can purchase whatever you want! We ask this simply because it makes it easier on our end to keep track of everything.

POKEGO Update
During the month of December, our first two POKEGO apprentices will be graduating to full membership! Jun and Varian, assuming you don't fail your final exam, will be able to enjoy receiving paychecks from POKEGO and their very own lab coats! Congrats you two!

Professor Oak will be very happy to see that everyone is alright, and concerned about the future ahead. However since this is the holiday season, he isn't going to assign any extra work! Just do your best to keep to your research and bettering the world! For Christmas, each POKEGO member will be gifted with berries for their Pokémon, as well as free TM of their choice that they can use on a Pokémon. Redeem your TM in the comment section below.

Black Order Update
Well, things are less rosy here. With Ash, Fugo, Zhongli, and Eunie finding their own ways to escape the Order-- the Order is noticing the thinning of the herd. Not only that, but the events of November showed to them that the situation Zodiac said was under control is definitely not under their control. So this month, the Black Order will be receiving an order to be on the lookout among Libra app users that would be potentially good recruitments for the Order. And no, this is not a request.

In other words, we will be beginning to allow for player characters to join up with the Black Order. The exact mechanics of it will be discussed with the current pool of Black Order players as they are the ones technically doing the recruitment. The official sign up page will be going up once everything is worked out on this end!

Please note that this is something of a prelude to the Year 3 plot, where the Black Order will be taking a more active role in the on-goings of Kaisou.

City Events
December is a Light element month, and it is also the first month of winter! Basically you can expect lots of snow, but overall it's still pretty bearable (the deep cold will be coming January). Around the city, there will be lots of holiday activities and shopping going on amongst the rebuilding of the town.

For those looking for a formal party this year, the Palais Garnier will be hosting a Formal Masquerade. Admission is free, so go ahead and dance the night away! This will be part of the main event log

Gate Event: A Hallmark Christmas
December's Spirit Gate Event will be based on Christmas movies! Rather, you know how there is an endless supply of mediocre Christmas movies? Well the realm visiting this month is actually partly responsible for that deluge, and they want your help! Take part in creating more Christmas movies whether it be acting, directing, script writing, or general stage crew help. Don't worry if you have no experience, as the magic of the season will help you through!

As a reward for helping out with these movies, characters will have a chance to meet Santa! Santa will give each character an enchanted item that is meant to be a gift to another person. So if you're looking for that perfect magical gift for your loved one, you better brush off those acting chops. More information about the gifts given can be found in the comment section below.

Please note, that every character is restricted to receiving one enchanted Santa gift. This means a character could ask Santa for multiple things, but they cannot give a gift to someone who has already received an item from Santa.
