September Plotting & CR Post
Hello everyone! It's time for the announcement and plotting post for September!
OOC Housekeeping
- The Zodiac Network Post will go up September 1st, with a midmonth post going up September 15th. The monthly event log will be posted September 4th.
- If you haven't already, please remember to check in for activity! Activity is due by the end of the month!
- Just a reminder for anyone who hasn't joined yet, but we have a game discord for current players! It's completely optional to join, but come in and say hi!
- If you haven't gotten your free gacha from the August event, you have until the last day of August when the regain office closes (4pm EST) to do so!
- The Regain and Elemental Power/Monster Regain pages have been overhauled! Go ahead and check them out.
- The Flaw System is a new option at the Gacha Goodwill. Have your character take on a flaw in order to gain extra points! This is available during gacha goodwill weekends.
World Changes
- Blitzball is now a popular sport in Kaisou with its own specialized stadium.
- I-Waffle House, a restaurant that's mix of an I-Hop and a Waffle House.
- SOUP, which sells soup (maybe clothes?)
- Candy Crush is now available on the Libra app!
- A Catbus is now a form of public transit in the city.
- The coffee shop Central Perk is now available.
- Hyrule is now available as a stable gate!
Side quests
New Side Quests have been added for the month of September! Go ahead and sign up! If you haven't turned in quests for August gacha points, you can still do so until the end of the month! However, signing up for any August quests is now closed.
POKEGO Update
POKEGO had a busy month! Here are some of the things they accomplished:
- POKEGO now has access to a magic car that'll change its shape/appearance thanks to Yuuki. Requires a driver's license to use.
- Varian donated a Serenitea Pot to PICHU. This can be expanded using points from anyone in POKEGO and is going to be used to build habitat areas for Pokemon (ongoing project)
- Yuuki and Varian have been studying the Ultrahand ability in Hyrule, and thus has discovered a number of builds you can make with the ability. How...useful those builds are are anyone's guess.
- Thanks to Josuke's research, they have a better understanding of how to make healing elixirs from ingredients found in Hyrule.
- Thanks to Abasi, they now have an easier time translating texts written in some common Hyrule languages.
- Thanks to Persephone's uh, "friendship" building with the Gerudo, POKEGO has been sent a collection of Gerudo outfits that can be used by male members to enter the city.
- Sorey and Mikleo are now known as some of the Heroes of Hyrule thanks to their battle with Calamity Ganon. Thanks to this, they have a shining reputation in the realm.
- And Jun found a hole and fished some Black Order members out of it. Thanks Jun.
For this month, Professor Oak will be asking a request to use the upcoming spirit realm in order to seek out some answers regarding Professor Willow as a way to get some closure. Help out your grandfather if you have the time.

Black Order Update
The Black Order's August mission was a success! With Weissmann dead and his followers dealt with, this has struck a fatal blow to the Krusnik organization. It's near impossible that they'll be able to rebuild after all this. Zero, a former victim, is now currently traveling the world to eliminate any pocket cells that remain. Whatever helps you heal girl.
As for September's Mission, the Black Order will be asked to investigate the identity of Rukkhadevata, a name that the seers within the Order keep hearing. Through their investigations, they will discover that Rukkhadevata was a former Black Order member that left by erasing all memories of her existence- including the memories of those in Kaisou. It'll be up to the Black Order members to decide whether to leave her alone and say goodbye to those memories, or bring back the memories so she can be found. As usual, more details will be given in the discord and the result of the mission will be decided there.
Furthermore, this means starting in September, Black Order characters will have the option of leaving the Order. In order to leave, they will have two options:
- OPTION A: They make a deal with the Horned Statue in Hyrule and in exchange of their power, their status will change to be the same as a regular Paranormal AU and be allowed to leave the Order. For this option, characters will lose all their purchased regains and unspent regain points except for 6 points which they can spend on either retaining some powers or gaining new ones. They will also be allowed to keep up to 3 gacha/goodwill items and 3 monster changes. Since they are now just a paranormal AU, they will forget their past life memories once they drop/leave the app unless they find a way around that.
- OPTION B: They destroy their record books in the Great Library of Alexandria, erasing all the world's memories to their existence and thus making the Black Order forget they ever existed. This means any records or memories of the character will be deleted. For the sake of preserving CR, characters on the Libra app will be able to remember them existing. Characters who take this option will lose half of their purchased regains/unspent regain points, but will be allowed to keep all their gacha/goodwill items.
Black Order characters are required to be in the game 6 months before they can leave the Order, and this is a PERMANENT decision. If you're interested, please head over to the Changing Factions for more information.
Town Events
With it being a wind element month, expect some windy weather! At least it'll finally be cooler. The K-12 Schools and University will be starting their fall terms September 5th after Labor Day. Meanwhile Kaisou will have a Renaissance festival going on in Blue Fish Lake Park, for anyone who interested in attending.
Meanwhile in the stable gates, Stardew Valley will be moving into the autumn season with their own festival at the end of the month. Hyrule meanwhile will be thrilled about the Calamity being defeated. The characters that fought Ganon (Sorey, Mikleo, Caesar, Ana, Kohga, Lapis, Scintilla, Ritsuka, Isabela, Jonathan) will be specifically hailed as the heroes of Hyrule and there will be numerous stories told about them throughout the kingdom.
Fortunately or unfortunately, since most people did not witness the battle, they may not recognize the heroes for who they are if you talk to them. You might try to convince them, but it's likely introducing yourself will get a "Oh wow you have the same name as one of the heroes! That's crazy!". However, if you do manage to convince them of your identity, you'll be given discounts or free items- or you'll get attacked by the Yiga clan member. But hey isn't a little mortal danger worth some free stuff?
Full Moon Alert (ALL MONSTERS)
Starting with the next full moon (August 29th - August 31st) onward, all monster types will be affected by the full moon. This means characters will struggle to maintain their human form during the full moon and may be influenced by monster impulses more (depending on how well they can keep it in check). The reason for this occurring is the increasing Spirit energy within the city.
Gate Event: Great Library of Alexandria
For September's event, we will be revisiting the Great Library of Alexandria! This time, the muses have taken a holiday and have asked the characters to watch the library in their stead. It's optional if you actually help with the library, but damaging the library will result in getting cursed by the muses- so let us know in the questions section if you want to do that.
Just like last year, characters will be able to explore the library and enjoy it's wealth of knowledge, literature and art (and it's not just books!). While there'll be loads of entertainment in the library, characters will be able to access life records of any person who has died and is related to them (meaning Luke Skywalker could get a file about Anakin, but he couldn't get one about Obi Wan Kenobi). This does include relations not just by blood, but do require the character you're looking up to view your character as family. For AU characters, this includes records of their previous selves and their relatives.
October Interest Check
Finally our last note is a quick interest check! While the September plot is all ready to go, we're also working on the October plot in the background. Since October is Halloween season, we intend to have seasonally-themed plot - which means a horror-themed plot.
Since we understand our players have varying levels of horror preference, we've decided for October to have two logs like we did in August. The first log will be the main event log and will contain a spirit realm event while seasonally appropriate, it will definitely be much tamer on the spooky scale. Rest assured, there'll be lots to do, and anything relevant to the metaplot will be happening in this log so no one will miss anything important.
The second log meanwhile will entail a horror plot based on Cabin in the Woods/Until Dawn/etc in which a group of characters will disappear for four days and be subjected to a more heavy duty horror plot involving plenty of things like death, violence, mental anguish, etc. This part of the plot is ENTIRELY opt-in, and participation in this side of the plot does not stop you from getting involved with the other log!
That said, if you are interested in taking part in the second more heavy-duty log, please comment to the October event comment below! This is purely an interest check and not a definite sign up (that will come next plotting post). We're just trying to get a rough headcount so we can scale this side of the plot accordingly (as a horror plot catered to 10 characters is going to work differently than one that's meant for 40). And due to the content of this event, we ask that any characters participating be at least 16 years of age.

Event Plans: As was the case last year, Varian is banned from the Library - because some people should not have access to all the knowledge in the world, ever - and he's gonna be pissy about that. Again. He will attend the Ren Faire because that's about as close to his old home world as he can get. He'll also be willing to help anyone dealing with the full moon messing with them- as he's been handling this for months now as a werewolf.

Event Plans: He's gonna go to the library and spend DAYS learning about his herd in his past life. If anyone wants to be dragged over and be told some of the most batshit stories imaginable, you're in for a treat! He'll also be checking out other areas of the library. He'll check out the Ren Faire if only so he can eat all the food there. He also has the hoofed animal communication now (along with animal hate), so he'll learn that the fun way here!
