Hello everyone! It's time for the announcement and plotting post for June!

OOC Housekeeping

• The Zodiac Network Post will go up June 1st, with a midmonth post going up June 15th. There will be an additional second log that'll be going up on June 4th as well (more on that ina bit).
• If you haven't already, please remember to check in for activity! Activity is due by the end of the month!
• We now have a game calendar! This calendar will let you know when to expect certain events involving the game.
• As mentioned before, the Application Processing and Gacha Goodwill schedules shall be changing! They will now both happen on the first and third weekends of the month. Please follow the links for more details.
• If you have not claimed your free gacha from the May plot, you have until the end of regain office hours on May 31st (4pm EST) to do so! Characters who apped in during May are also welcomed to get free gacha.
• Just a reminder for anyone who hasn't joined yet, but we have a game discord for current players! It's completely optional to join, but come in and say hi!

World Changes

• Skyrim is now playable on the Libra App!
• Whimsicott can now be found in Kaisou.
• Steel Samurai is now a popular show in Kaisou!

Side quests
New Side Quests have been added for the month of June! Go ahead and sign up! If you haven't turned in quests for May gacha points, you can still do so until the end of the month! However, signing up for any May quests is now closed.

POKEGO Update
Due to their efforts with helping out and opening up the PICHU program at Cygnus Academy, POKEGO characters will now enjoy a salary of $300/month. Keep up the good work guys!

In addition, POKEGO and anyone else who attends Cygnus will have access to the PICHU Program Facility. Currently this is barebones, but characters can donate items and money to upgrade it! Either comment to the relevant discord thread or comment to the POKEGO info page if you plan to donate anything.

Town Events
Summer is here! By now all regular schools will be out for the summer, but Cygnus Academy will be opening up in Undertown. Learn from your fellow app users topics ranging from magic to history to cooking to painting to mythology. There will also be a POKEGO attachment to the building that will provide other services in addition to some other classes. This is a player-run school (Fae and Nao being the main runners), so hit them up if you're interested in having your character teach or attend school!

Meanwhile, as all of us are aware, June is Pride month! To celebrate Pride Month, Zulius's theater (The Vogue) be running Pride-related events such as different LGBTAQ+ themed plays and even a drag show! These events will be getting their own special log on June 4th alongside the June event log.

Event: Amnesia Inducing Water (and Black Order mission)
During June, a magic conman will be selling enchanted bottled water through Kaisou. If you drink this water, you will lose some or all of your memories. While the memory loss can be fixed, this is also an opportunity for anyone who wishes to adjust their AU histories permanently. If you're interested, please comment to the thread below and fill out the form. Please note that this cannot be used to get Black Order characters out of the Order.

Speaking of the Black Order, they will be tasked with tracking down the person distributing these bottle waters and dealing with them. The target will turn out to be a serial conman who has a long history of doing basically every Spirit Realm scam under the sun, including many dangerous ones, while showing no remorse for it. It'll be up to the Black Order players to discuss and decide how they will wish to handle this, and there will be a vote in discord once the log goes up to decide what the IC result will be.

Gate Event: Oz
This month's event will be based on the Wizard of Oz! Characters will be traveling to Oz where they will assist the Munchkins deal with an issue that's caused some local beasts to go haywire. They will also get to visit Emerald City and other select locations around Oz. There will be work for people to help repair Munchkin land or fight off some beasts. This event is based off a mix of the classic movie and the original books, so you'll see a mix of both those things present.

Characters who are 15 and under will be able to stay in Munchkin Land without supervision, but will require to have an older chaperone should they head outside that area.

About: Former musical theater teacher at Kaisou university, he's now turned into an imp with memories of being a hitman in a former life and is perceived to be a possum by anyone who isn't aware of the supernatural. He also killed one of the board members of Zodiac before being killed himself, so since he came back he's been avoiding using the app. This means he's failed to inform the majority of people that he's alive.

Event Plans: This month is going to be huge for him. He loves pride, and is going to do pride stuff whether most people see him a possum or not. He figures people will just accept that Zulius must have dressed up a possum. He will be doing the drag show as well and will be singing this song, because singing a song where he keeps repeating 'I'm alive' when he's supposed to be dead is just perfect.

He will also be getting extremely drunk and will post on the network, then wake up the following morning and have a panic attack when he realizes what he's done. His first announcement that he's alive that everyone will be able to see will consist of him being very drunk and falling off a barstool while talking about wanting to drink a bisexual colored drink.

In addition to all of this he will be visiting Oz as he is a huge fan of both the Wizard of Oz and Wicked. He will be singing. A lot.

About: A reincarnated teenage ghost hero trying to figure out who he is now. Apparently that now includes being part ghost, part Fae and part human. He got thrown for a major loop by the Persona plot, but after a month of recovery he's ready to start getting involved in things again.
Event Plans:
Danny's going to want to help the Munchkins, somehow. Apart from that he'd up for exploration and side quests. He'll be enrolling at Cygnus Academy to learn magic basics, because hes got some plans there.

Outside of the event, Danny's going to be trying to ease back into his normal life. At home he's slowly befriending the poltergeist that moved into his house. He's also going to be asking around about getting advice about learning magic. He wants to turn his Fae curse ability into something helpful, but first he has to get over his fears about using it and learn the basics of using magic.

Event Plans: Fukuda is just about the most useless man alive unless you need someone to be a walking calculator/tv tropes, but he will definitely be Around for Oz because he is at least content aware. We gotta go find the witch and pour water on her, guys!!!

Also definitely going to drink the amnesia water and learn nothing, thus probably doing it several more times. Local man as alarmed as you are about the hole in his head.

But more than anything he's new!! I am down for whatever and so is he. Do things to and with this hole man.

About: A young woman who at this point is just getting out of high school. She doesn't like dealing with people too much, but she has a few friends that she feels comfortable enough with. She has a number of her past-life memories that were originally regained last year when she was on Libra before, and winding up on Libra a second time brought back both those memories—though some of them are now a little fuzzy—and the dragon head stuck on top of her own head. What she can remember of her past life paints a pretty unpleasant picture, both of her past self and the world she had lived in. She doesn't like any of Kaisou's nonsense, but seeing that it's likely become unavoidable once more, she's going to be looking for ways to get herself involved to try to help in Dealing With It.

Luz is going to be inspired to try and run some actual pride events for the teenagers this month, including asking about a dance towards the end of the month! Otherwise, Luz will be squirreling off to Oz when she has the chance, and will be there a bit!

I think I'll have her look into the new classes starting out in June!

Luz is going to be carrying her egg shaped Palisman this month, hoping it will hatch sometime soon.

About: A gifted composer struggling with trauma stemming from several family tragedies that left her a shut-in desperate to find a reason to keep going on. This develops into a very intense savior complex - she composes endlessly, to the point where it's negatively impacted her health, because she thinks that the only way she can atone for what she believed she did is to "save" people with her music.

Despite this, she's a very kind and friendly girl, who comes across a bit stoic and awkward at first, but warms up to others remarkably well.

Event Plans: So! Initially, she won't be out and about much - big crowds plus heat are a combination that would sap Kanade of all her energy pretty quickly. But at some point in one of her rare trips outside, she'll be taking one of the offered bottles of magical water, losing some of her memories. Specifically, the memories of her father's collapse, his ongoing hospitalization, and... ironically, his own memory problems. Without the memories of this huge turning point in her life, Kanade will actually be a lot happier and a bit more open than she normally would be.

In other words, I'm hoping to use this as a chance to strike up some new CR!! Once the memloss shift settles, Kanade will probably be going outside more, possibly attending one of the plays or some of the other events happening around the city for Pride. She's also, uh, completely blind to just what her devotion to Mafuyu could mean in terms of her feelings for other girls (or at least that one girl in particular) so??? Hey maybe all of this can give her some kind of hint???

As for Pride things and otherwise being in Ozlandia, I don't have specific plans. Her birthday is in June and because of things in XB3 Canon (tl;dr you only live until your 21st birthday and are both around the mental age of 10) she's going to be extremely stressed out because of the lingering idea that her time is going to run out. Anyone to help her deal with this stress is going to be very welcomed because she's more susceptible to panic than she lets on.

I just want to make sure I don't overload on toplevels for June. I love the Wizard of Oz and Minato will probably casually be exploring if anyone wants to be buddies! I'd also like to do quests, for him I'm interested in "Let's Make a Meal" & "Taste the Rainbow"! But I'm willing to do other ones as well. Event Plans: As seen above: exploration! He won't have a toplevel but I'll be tagging out and can write unique closed starters for people also. For side quests I'd love to do "Encyclopedia Fanatica" and "A Purse-onal Endeavor" with him!

She's not the smartest but she's very strong and also just generally kind of easy to get along with since she's pretty gullible and just assumes the best of most people at this point. Sidequest wise, I'd like to do any of them with her but would enjoy "There's No Place Like HOLY SHIT KILL IT WITH FIRE" in particular just because she's never really Fought A Thing before even though I bought her back some abilities so it should go ok.
