Welcome to the January Handwaved CR & AU workshop for Kaisou! We're super excited to have you! These posts are to help encourage old and new players to make new connections and find potential CR while designing your AU or figuring out what your OU character has been up to. If you're brand news, you can check out FAQ page and the app page to get a sense of what's going on!

If you're a player looking to app a new character:
Apps are always open for submission and get done the first and third weekends of the month. So once you got a clear idea of what you want, feel free to hop over to the application page! If you're already in the game, feel free to comment to this post as well to make new CR!

A reminder that in order to app either a Black Order or POKEGO AU you are required to have been in the game at least 3 months with another character. If you are rejoining the game after being gone awhile, you can count your past stint towards your 3 months, but it's recommended you look over the plot recap to see what you missed.

You can use this post to comment with your character and established some handwaved CR or just come up with different ways for characters to meet!

Character Name: Lapis Agapov ( Formerly Lapis De Fiore )
Canon: Original
Age: 26
Type: Ronin AU / Ex-Black Order

About: Quiet and soft-spoken, Lapis was originally a Guardian of the Black Order and one of the ones with a less savoury reputation - noted for attending missions too far gone or needed someone to clean up. This combined with the fact that she was being moulded into a weapon of the Order wreaked havoc on her mentally, but she has now since escaped that and is piecing together a life as a person again alongside her fiance, Jinwoo, and her father, Husker. It's a work in progress but she's doing her best! She is also part-eldritch being with strong ties to space, but she doesn't really talk about that - her other form is pretty neat though.

Lapis is, despite the shit she went through, very warm-hearted and empathetic and cares a lot about the people around her. She can be very doting and fussy, but she generally means well and likes looking out for others - even if her protectiveness can lean a little towards violence, some habits die hard. Though with people she's more comfortable around, she shows more glimpses of being an immensely stubborn menace who is a little too blunt, a little too mischievous and not afraid to pull on some ears to get her point across.

Typical Activities:
🌙 A singer at the Vogue! She is very, very good at it and enjoys it immensely. Also plays piano on occasion too
🌙 Works as an apprentice at Blade's forge; she specialises mostly in smaller weapons and accessories
🌙 While she rarely hangs around the fortress itself, she can be found in the Library of Asgard as one of it's caretakers by Tsuchigomori's request
🌙 Currently assisting her Nonni aka Venti with wedding plans and tentatively looking at things herself.... very tentatively...... ( She's only told closer CR about her own engagement but she is also clearly wearing A Ring so )
🌙 Tends to hang around the Underground often, and has befriended many of the local ghosts and spirits. She hears things over their gossip network.....
🌙 Can sometimes be found with her "children", aka: Jinwoo's shadow summon bear, Tank and their sibling who is an actual bear, Cannon, along with her Cosmog Azzurra.

Looking for: MANY THINGS! Lapis is exceedingly patient and open-minded, so she tends to get along with all sorts and is very rarely bothered by much ( she likes hanging out with Ardyn so I mean ). She is still learning how to people and not be a massive workaholic/learn it's okay to chill out so any people to help with that would be loved too! She just needs More Friends

So I think we've talked briefly before about these two having interacted some offscreen (especially in light of the whole Douman Incident) but anything in particular you'd like to do?

ALSO I can offer any of my three for handwaved meetings and/or plotting for any of yours if you'd like!

all of my other lads have poked your girls except takame-kun we should fix that

but also he and lapis are for sure more than familiar both being vogue workers so they're prolly friendly

Obviously these two see each other on the daily. He likely still makes a point to have some time with just the two of them- if it's going for a walk or a meal or something. She might be all grown up and getting married, but she can still spare some time for her dear old dad so he can catch up with her and check in she's doing good.

Zulius will be obnoxiously friendly with her in work as he is with everyone there and is gonna pester the HELL out of her once he finds out about the engagement. He will see that ring and have SO MANY QUESTIONS. Tell him EVERYTHING!! He's also in the Venti Wedding Planning gang so she gets REGULAR messages about how it's running. At least she's used to what a control freak Zulius is.

She likely sees Varian on the regular too, soon as he likes helping at Blade's forge too. He's happy to help her out if she gets stuck on anything.

obviously! lapis is always happy to spend time with dad, she really is glad they can have more time together after getting out of the order.... though this also means she gently nags at him to talk to her too. you need to tell her about your stuff too, husk! they support each other now!!

there is no hiding anything from zulius, she will tell him the details without hesitation. also she might want to gush a bit. just a bit. and true she's so used to zulius being a control freak she can roll with this, she'll do her best to help him with all his ideas!

and yes, lapis is still in the learning stages so she would absolutely ask varian about things she isn't sure about! she's very eager to learn and improve, so she would def listen to any advice
