Welcome to the January Handwaved CR & AU workshop for Kaisou! We're super excited to have you! These posts are to help encourage old and new players to make new connections and find potential CR while designing your AU or figuring out what your OU character has been up to. If you're brand news, you can check out FAQ page and the app page to get a sense of what's going on!

If you're a player looking to app a new character:
Apps are always open for submission and get done the first and third weekends of the month. So once you got a clear idea of what you want, feel free to hop over to the application page! If you're already in the game, feel free to comment to this post as well to make new CR!

A reminder that in order to app either a Black Order or POKEGO AU you are required to have been in the game at least 3 months with another character. If you are rejoining the game after being gone awhile, you can count your past stint towards your 3 months, but it's recommended you look over the plot recap to see what you missed.

If you are a player with a character in game looking for CR:
You can use this post to comment with your character and established some handwaved CR or just come up with different ways for characters to meet!

Character Name: Byleth Eisner (AU: Bailey Eisner)
Canon: Fire Emblem Three Houses
Age: 25
Type: Paranormal AU

About: College student looking to go into education eventually. Helps teach self-defense classes and is an intern on The Jackdaw. Has a penchant for picking up and returning lost items. Has a fascination with weapons. Hoards tarot decks and is one of the newer members of the local seers. Happens to be possessed by a chatty and opinionated (amnesiac) time goddess, so she eats enough for two people and has what appears to be an uncharacteristic vengeful streak occasionally. Always returns favors. (That and the vengeful streak are both part of the same part of the contract price)
Typical Activities: Around Kaisou U for any reason? Easy way to run into Bailey. Around The Jackdaw? Bailey's one of the interns. Taken a self-defense class? Bailey could easily have been helping out with the class!

Beyond that, she can be spotted working out at the local gym or practicing her combat in Hyrule or the Stardew mines. Bailey can also be found around Cathedral Hill, since some of her extended family are Very involved with the church.

Or, if none of these work or appeal, there's always the fun fall-back of "Bailey returned your lost item".

Looking for: More friends are always more than welcome, especially ones that they don't know from school or work (school and work friends are also very good). Immediate family isn't doable, but the idea of Bailey having more extended family they didn't know about delights me.

If Bailey's family is involved with the church, then Jun is probably familiar with them! He's been going to the cathedral for almost a decade now after him and his dad moved here, and is fairly involved with volunteer stuff! So maybe they've had their run ins there?

Yeah, I can see them having run-ins there! Bailey's been in Kaisou for around the same amount of time, too. They started out pretty quiet with a strong case of Resting Silent Protagonist Face and inexpressive, but they've become just a bit more animated over time.

(But only just a bit.)

Bailey probably helps with volunteer stuff from time to time, especially when their uncle or cousin ask, so it's entirely possible they've worked together on a few things!

Same with Jun! If they been in Kaisou around the same time, maybe they were in Sunday School and youth groups together? Quiet inexpressive kids that slowly started coming out of their shells over the years (at least a little).
