Welcome to the January Handwaved CR & AU workshop for Kaisou! We're super excited to have you! These posts are to help encourage old and new players to make new connections and find potential CR while designing your AU or figuring out what your OU character has been up to. If you're brand news, you can check out FAQ page and the app page to get a sense of what's going on!

If you're a player looking to app a new character:
Apps are always open for submission and get done the first and third weekends of the month. So once you got a clear idea of what you want, feel free to hop over to the application page! If you're already in the game, feel free to comment to this post as well to make new CR!

A reminder that in order to app either a Black Order or POKEGO AU you are required to have been in the game at least 3 months with another character. If you are rejoining the game after being gone awhile, you can count your past stint towards your 3 months, but it's recommended you look over the plot recap to see what you missed.

If you are a player with a character in game looking for CR:
You can use this post to comment with your character and established some handwaved CR or just come up with different ways for characters to meet!

Character Name: Sabo
Canon: One Piece
Age: 22
Type: OU!

About: Sabo is a Victorian era Martian a revolutionary army leader trying to adjust to a new level of technology and the internet. If anyone has encountered Ace more than once, they're probably going to have to deal with him eventually, because he and Sabo are a matching set. Since he's Ace's impulse control, people dealing with his troublesome side will probably end up facing him for answers (or payment). Unfortunately, Sabo's impulse control is also ass. Good luck!
Typical Activities: Sabo likes setting fires and exploring, and it's more than likely he's dined and dashed in a fancy place or two since he looks like he belongs there. He likes writing and hearing people's stories, and has trouble keeping his nose out of fights.

Looking for: I'm open to any CR for him!

Since Cotton sends a lot of cookies in Ace's direction, you can probably assume that Sabo is also receiving cookies. Delightful!

That aside, since JoJo likes hanging out with Ace, I think it'd be cool for him to meet Sabo as well- he's a big buff nerd who is also a tiny bat, and Also likes a good fight, so,

Canon: Kingdom Hearts
Age: 17 (physically a couple years older than canon!)
Type: Kaisou AU!

About: Roxas is an Olympic skateboarder who brought home bronze in 2024, earning him local fame. He's just graduated high school in May, a year early, and has just moved out and on his own! He's currently gotten one of his Keyblades back as well as his first Pokemon, and his memories have yet to fully start to surface.
Typical Activities: Skateboarding at the skate parks, traveling, and taking photographs around the city!

Looking for: I would REALLY like to get Roxas a little more established! Anyone near his age might know him from school, anyone from Kaisou who's tuned enough to the world news might know who he is from the summer games!

so if Roxas took art classes, he'd probably know Yusuke? And Caleb is a fair bit older than him, but he is a Kaisou native so he might be familiar with him.

Ash and Yuuki are both closer in age, Ash is the nicer Yuuki is the POKEGO, and both are in college!
